Data Quality Analyst
6 month contract
Up to £35,000 per annum + bonus

A leading global insurance group that provides innovative capital release solutions and live specialty underwriting capabilities. Their diversified portfolio of companies are positioned across the world's major insurance hubs spanning Bermuda, the US, London, Continental Europe, Singapore, Australia, and others.
About the Role:
Reporting into the Operations Manager, the Data Quality Analyst will provide assurance over the quality of data being entered into the Policy Administration system.
Key duties:
·Reviews should ensure that risk entry is completed in line with agreed data standards and protocols, and reflects the policy documentation.
·Ensure data checks are completed in line with agreed standards (e.g. pre-defined data fields are routinely checked, and are completed in a timely fashion).
·Liaison with Underwriting teams responsible for risk data entry to ensure that errors identified can be rectified in a timely manner.
·Maintain good quality records of checks conducted and the results of reviews.
·Review records to identify trends and patterns relating to any errors found, and liaise with Underwriting teams to address issues and drive up the standard of data entry.
·Make recommendations / suggestions to assist with the improvement of the processes followed to assure data quality, including (but not limited to) improving the quality of the teams output, and enhancing the teams efficiency.
·Support internal / external audit reviews of Data Quality and the operation of associated controls.
·Produce weekly data for review and discussion at team meetings.
·Produce monthly reports that reflect the results of checks, including errors and inconsistencies
Key Experience:
·Proven track record in a role focused on ensuring quality of records, and ensuring effectiv controls are in place
·Proficient in MS Office applications
·Good and up to date understanding of the London Insurance Market Ability to calculate Premiums and understand key insurance terms is desirable but not essential
·Attention to detail.
·Risk awareness. Able to see the bigger picture and identify what might go wrong.
·Highly motivated and ability to communicate well with all levels of staff.
·Effective scheduling, prioritisation and time management skills
