The Operations team has a vacancy for the role of Performance Analyst.
The position will be one within the central operations team with the ability to report, analyse, identify issues and produce solutions for customers, network and production plants.
The individual will also:
* Track and monitor the performance of all core operational activities, challenging current practices and highlighting key performance risks as appropriate.
* Create new and enhance existing reports to enable operational field teams to deliver agreed performance for Production, Network maintenance and central activities.
* Liaise with operational staff to understand practices, identify inconsistencies and then recommend and implement corrective measures, create and run reports to track improvement.
* Ensure all operational reconciliation and audit control processes are complete, managing any errors through to resolution.
* Write Business Objects Reports and Dashboards for Wholesale performance monitoring.
* Create new and enhance existing reports to enable Operations teams to meet deadlines and achieve ODI's.
* Assist the team with external audits and process documentation for ODI's.
* Improve the quality and effectiveness of operational activity and process through uniform standards across the regions.
* Analyse operational data through Excel and Business Objects Reports.
* Attend and contribute to team meetings with team, peers, contractors and senior management.
* Provide specialist contract support for operational contract whilst ensuring contractual compliance through governance.
* Single point of contact for complex processes and liaise with appropriate departments.
The key aspects of the role are:
* Providing accurate and reliable information to operational manager and the senior management team.
* Create new and enhance existing reports to enable operational field teams to deliver agreed performance for Production, Network maintenance and central activities.
* Liaise with operational staff to understand practices, identify inconsistencies and then recommend corrective measures, create and run reports to track improvement.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
It is expected that this role will attract a professionally qualified candidate although consideration will be given to personnel who have a proven track record with 3+ years in the water industry.
* Experience in analysing data and report writing.
* Experience in programme/project management.
* Experience of working with others to achieve a common goal.
* A UK driving licence and access to a car to travel to various locations within and outside of SEW operational area. Mileage for business travel will be reimbursed at the standard rate.
