Property Compliance Officer (12 Month Contract)

Sittingbourne, Kent

£12.30 Per Hour

Our client, an established housing provider located in Sittingbourne, is currently looking to recruit a Property Compliance Officer to work on a 12-month contract.

Working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, the role will be paying a rate of £12.30 per hour.

The successful candidates will be responsible planning and delivering programmes of work related to the functions held (e.g. Fire, asbestos, electrical, lifts, water safety etc.) and to ensure our client has robust and auditable evidence of compliance with relevant legislation and company KPIs.

Duties & Responsibilities

* To assist the Head of Property Compliance and Property Compliance Manager by controlling survey and/or servicing programmes for compliance functions and ensuring quality of surveys provided by relevant service providers.
* To help achieve KPI performance in Property Compliance areas.
* To fully investigate compliance related queries and provide audit trail of these investigations.
* To ensure communication between various departments and contractors results in a joined up approach to delivering Compliance in areas.
* To assist in the research of Property Compliance standards and best practice.

Person Specification

* Experience in any property compliance area.
* Strong PC skills and excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
* Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
* Must be able to demonstrate the principles of the 'Plan, Do, Check, Act' cycle as described by health and safety guide.
