Dynamic and progressive international business in Sevenoaks are looking for a commercially focussed Management Accountant to join their successful operation.
In addition to the traditional management accounting activities, there is a strong emphasis on business partnering, providing insight on margin, revenue and trade finance. There is also lots of opportunity to add value to current reporting processes and systems in general.
Detailed duties include;
• Producing monthly management accounts and group reporting pack
• Monthly balance sheet reporting and analysis
• Daily futures reconciliations
• Project accounting
• Cashflow forecasting
• Profit and Loss/Balance Sheet forecasting
• Assist in annual budget process
• Assist in quarterly forecasting
• Review trading positions and hedging (Futures and FX)
This is the ideal opportunity for someone with strong commercial acumen to add further value to the management accounting process. Its imperative that applicants are proactive, adaptable to be able to monitor the business volume and profitability, making recommendations for opportunity/mitigate risk.
Additionally, advanced Excel skills are essential, to enable large scale manipulation of data using Pivot Tables, SUMIF, LOOKUPs, advanced formulas.
