An excellent opportunity has arisen within a growing Financial Services company that specialises in running SIPP and SSAS pension schemes. This will be for maternity cover but proven candidates might have the possibility of a being offered a permanent role at the end of the temporary contract.

If you are successful, you will join our training programme receiving specialist training in groups and on a one to one basis to help develop into the role. You will be given the opportunity to work with our team of specialist Compliance Managers, assisting them with file reviews and keeping the staff up to date with policies and procedures.

Some Key Responsibilities:

•To regularly update compliance registers e.g. breaches, complaints and customer feedback.
•Assisting with staff queries on compliance related matters.
•Routinely carry out audits/spot checks on existing and new procedures to ensure they are being met to regulatory and our own internal standards.
•To ensure file reviews are up to date and accurate and provide corrective actions if required.
•Managing the maintenance log of all our customer facing documentation, in conjunction with our Technical Manager.
•Provide the best possible service to staff, ensuring published service standards and Treating Customers Fairly requirements are always met.
•Responding to all communication in a timely manner.
•Complete all administrative record keeping including computer records and paper files in accordance with Company policies and procedures and all compliance and legal requirements.
•Creation and maintenance of other data records.
•Foster and maintain good working relationships with other Team members.

Skills and Experience:

•Good numeracy and communication skills.
•Accuracy and attention to detail.
•Motivated and focused on delivering excellent assistance to their colleagues.
•Flexibility to meet the needs of the team to deliver solution based successful outcomes.
•Someone who is happy to take the initiative as required.
•An appreciation for the need of discretion and confidentiality.
•2 years’ experience in the financial services industry, ideally in a compliance based role.

Benefits:

Salary of £17,000 - £23,000 per annum (based on experience)
5% Employer contributions in to your pension scheme.
23 days holiday per year.
