Position Expectations
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and hard-working Marketing Executive to join an expanding family run business. This is a standalone position reporting to senior management; the Marketing Executive will take ownership of and work on implementing exciting marketing campaigns to improve market share and brand awareness and to ensure that the sales teams have all the tools and marketing material required.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Own, develop and implement campaign planning for a portfolio of events and marketing campaigns
• Work on the introduction and implementation of a new product catalogue in the near future
• Website development, this will either be in house or working with and managing a 3rd party
• Working with internal stakeholders and conference producers to ensure each event is properly represented, adhering to brand guidelines
• Enhancing promotional activity - email copy, email design, print, data, mailing and to manage and execute a multi-channel marketing campaign
• Develop the company’s loyalty program
• Update all online marketing material
• Due to this being a relatively small but growing business the scope of the role may involve other administration duties not directly involved with marketing, assisting the team to ensure service excellence is delivered at all times


Specific skills and experience
• Hands-on experience of online and offline direct marketing, preferably with a B2B product
• A working knowledge of design programmes would be a distinct advantage
• Working within the veterinary field would be a distinct advantage but not essential
• Ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects and campaigns at the same time
• Experience of collaborating to improve and develop new marketing methods that improve ROI and product awareness
• Excellent written and spoken English, particularly copywriting and proofing skills
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to prepare and execute direct marketing campaigns and then produce meaningful analysis, on which to base informed conclusions

This role offers a competitive salary and the standard working hours are 8:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Friday. The company is located in a very lovely rural setting therefore, candidates must be able to drive.
