Critical Project Resourcing currently have an exciting opportunity for a graduate or motivated school leaver seeking a career in recruitment, to join their Public Sector recruitment team. We are a small but established team specialising in contract recruitment to Local Authorities and other Public Sector clients across the UK.

Public Sector recruitment differs to traditional recruitment in that it is not a ‘hardcore’ sales job – there is certainly a sales element, but the majority of your time will be spent working to fill vacancies that are released via preferred supplier lists, and building relationships with Account Managers. The opportunity to develop new business is always there though should you wish to take up the challenge! Vacancies covered by the team vary from ICT, HR and Finance through to Traffic Engineers and Town Planners – so there’s no danger of getting bored working the same vacancies all the time! No two days in this job are ever the same.

You will be trained ‘on the job’, so have the opportunity to start working on real, fillable vacancies from your very first day. Over time you will learn the skills you need to become independent and fully manage your own workload. The role is very much target driven, but targets are achievable and you will be mentored and assisted every step of the way to achieving the targets set. All promotions at Critical Project Resourcing are target based, and we have an excellent commission scheme - so everyone works to the same criteria and you are able to plan exactly where your career (and earnings!) are going. The current management team at Critical Project Resourcing is made up largely of people who started on this trainee programme – so if you’re looking for excellent progression opportunities, this could be the career for you.

In addition, we also offer the opportunity to obtain industry qualifications once you have completed the trainee programme. Currently we offer the Certificate in Recruitment Practice (CertRP) and Diploma in Recruitment Management (DipRM). These are fully funded by the company for those who wish to study them – a real unique opportunity!
