Lettings Administrator – M1904
Our client based on the Medway City Estate in Rochester are a young vibrant company with an enviable reputation, providing a dynamic and innovative approach to house building. They operate as a property developer throughout the United Kingdom, specialising in quality bespoke developments. Over the years, they have acquired a portfolio of office-space, retail and residential apartments available to let in varied locations.
My client has specified that Lettings experience is essential for this position so please only apply if you have significant experience in this field. Your application will not be considered if you don't come from a Lettings, property background unfortunately.
We are looking to recruit a new member of staff on a Permanent basis ASAP. This position has become available due to long serving member of staff retiring in March so you would shadow this person whilst training so systems and procedures can be demonstrated.
The use of computers is a major part of this role so you must be able to use all Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel to a high standard.
The position would be full time, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm – 1 hour for lunch unpaid.
Salary in the region of £16500.00 - £20000.00 P/A depending on experience of residential & commercial lettings/Customer Care.
We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator, of smart appearance, who can competently incorporate all roles as follows and work on their own initiative. You must have lots of common sense, be proactive and have an eagerness to succeed.
Duties to include but are not limited to:
Reception
Answering the phone, greeting visitors at reception, making drinks for meetings
Take in deliveries, most days it’s just the postman and some ad-hoc deliveries that come in
Frank the post and deliver it to the post box in the evening
Top up the franking machine with credit & make sure it doesn’t run out of credit
Unload and load the dishwasher in the morning and evening, collect up the cups etc
Keeping the log sheet of staff & visitors up to date.
Administration
To assist with administration as and when required – a little invoicing to commercial customers etc., helping with credit card payments for accounts.
Customer Care
To take details of any customer care enquiries, log details and follow up / liaise with the Manager.
Lettings Experience
Over the years a portfolio has been acquired of office-space, retail and residential apartments available to let in varied locations. You would need to assist with the increasing rental portfolio so experience in lettings of such like properties would be required.
