New Business Appointment Setter
(Commercial Insurance)
Location: City of London & in the field.
Salary: circa £22,000 to £25,000 + commissions. Our clients is fair and realistic and wants to create a package that incentivises & rewards your endeavour & success.

You will be joining a dynamic and multi-faceted insurance group which includes a UK Retail Broker, a Lloyds Broking arm and an Underwriting Agency.
Through these operating companies you will be working with an innovative insurance specialist who can offer clients of all dimensions from a wide range of different industry sectors an array of niche commercial insurance covers at highly competitive premiums.
Key Responsibilities
The role:
This position will sit within the UK retail broking arm and so you will be interacting directly with business owners, senior management and risk officers within UK Mid-Market and Corporate businesses.
These potential new business targets will have a premium spend ranging from £5,000 to £100,000 per annum.
·You will be provided with leads and make outbound calls to these potential new clients.
·Your role will be representing, introducing and explaining the company's unique insurance Review Process.
·Appointment setting for field based Sales Executive to visit prospective new clients.
·Obtain accurate appointment information prior to arranging Prospect Meeting for a Sales Executive
Key Performance Indicators
·It is expected that an Appointment Setter would dial at a rate of 15-18 calls per hour on average. This means that a minimum 100 calls per working day need to be achieved as a reasonable minimum
·Each call logged should directly correlate to the physical call made through the Softphone or Handset. There should be no more than 10% discrepancy.
·A reasonable minimum number of appointments to achieve per calendar month will be 12 fully qualified face to face appointments.
·Performance will be reviewed on a 1-2-1 basis at weekly, monthly and at quarterly reviews
Requirements for role
-Minimum of 12 months previous Outbound Calling Experience, preferably obtained in an insurance environment, but not essential.
-Previous experience of making a minimum of 100 outbound calls a day
-Have a resilient personality and can overcome rejection and be able to effectively objection handle with potential Prospects
-As with all new business sales role applicants must be vibrant, determined, resourceful and able to build rapport quickly.
