Our client specialises in the storage and distribution from Worldwide Exporters, Growers and Importers, with an expertise in delivering to Wholesale Markets in the UK. They are based within distance to Gravesend and are currently looking for an exceptional Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to join their growing team.

With experience working within the FMCG sector, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager, ensuring the safe and legal use of facilities and equipment, as well as the safety, legality and quality of the products. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and CCP's are desirable for this role. To excel in this role, you must be a strong team leader with good communication skills and the ability to delegate where necessary. You must have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to work efficiently to tight deadlines.

You will be second in command to the managers. You will be responsible for a team of people, being their first point of contact, supervising the In and Out times, completing Rota's, payroll and much more.

You will need to be motivated, diligent and highly organised. A background within FMCG would be preferred, but our client is open to other backgrounds, they are looking for someone with the drive, desire, passion to want to make a difference and have the necessary Warehouse Supervisory experience.

Initially, the role is going to start on the hours of 1pm - 10pm, which will eventually become 10am - 10pm.
