CLAIMS CONSULTANT

Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be assisting a leading Broking Group in recruiting a Claims Consultant for their professional team. If you enjoy the satisfaction of supporting clients through the claims process want to help clients to reduce the costs of claims to their businesses, then the Claims Consultant role may be of interest to you!
The Claims team work across the Corporate client base, supporting allocated clients through any losses they may have suffered and providing consultancy advice on minimising the possibility of further claims in the future.
In addition to day to day technical support and guidance, the Claims Consultants help clients to understand the root cause of their losses, why they have happened and what they can do to minimise the possibility of them happening again. They use MI/data to analyse losses and trends, undertake claims reviews and audits, support the training of client claims representatives and provide comprehensive advice to minimise the total cost of claims for the client.
The claims you will work on are mainly EL, PL and Motor with some property and business interruption claims.
You will also work on claims related projects including process efficiency, training, file audits and writing claims procedure guides.
We are seeking candidates with proven claims experience across Liability (EL, PL, product liability), Property and/or Motor Fleet claims. Ideally you will have client facing experience and will have worked with clients to advise on claims, reduction of claims spend, process improvements and/or claims trends. We are seeking candidates from either Loss adjuster, Insurer or broking background with client facing experience.
You will be confident, articulate claims professional, with the ability to manage the expectations of numerous stakeholders.
