Do you have the time to do something amazing in 2018 and help a young person achieve their potential by offering a few hours a month, taking an interest in their welfare and having fun? Our vision is that every young person in need has access to the resources and opportunities needed for them to achieve their potential and lead fulfilled lives. Our client does this through their incredibly rewarding Mentoring and Befriending roles by recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to assist, guide and listen to young people in need.

What can I do to help?
Our client, an Independent Children's Charity, believe young people are at the heart of everything they do and they thrive on having volunteers out on the front line working with them.

Befriender

The aim of this service is to give our young people a consistent, stable adult throughout what can be a time of continual changes when stable support is most needed.

What do I need to have?
• A listening ear
• An open, non-judgemental approach
• Flexibility
• Commitment
• The want to help us make a difference!

What are the benefits?
• Although a Volunteer role (Non-Paid) expenses and mileage costs are reimbursed
• Volunteer events
• Becoming part of a supportive and growing team
• Support and guidance from your Coordinator
• Free training opportunities
• Helping to shape and influence the lives of young people

It is helpful if volunteers have use of a car and are available on weekends.
