Job Title: Planning Manager
Reporting line Transport Manager and Office Manager
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000
Main Duties:
Dealing with all communications including managing contracts process, arranging deliveries, collections and invoicing.
Process all paperwork relating to the above in an organised, accurate and timely manner
Liaising with customers and suppliers over the telephone and in person
Supporting other member of the team as required
Produce timesheets
Implement the company Health and Safety policy as and when required in conjunction with the Transport Manager
Undertake any other duties that the management may reasonably request.
Skills and Experience:
Proven track record working within planning.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications and the capacity to learn company software
To provide a quality services to customers and colleagues is an integral part of the role
Confident, polite communicator with both customers and colleagues
Good team player
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining a calm positive attitude
To act in a professional, trustworthy manner at all times.
