Majority of theoperational services are outsourced and monitored by the branch operational team.The UK branch coordinating the supply of our full range of produce from around theworld with customers in the supermarket, wholesale and foodservice sectors. They arecomplemented at all times by dedicated logistics and technical support teams.The UK office also has a strong marketing outlook and is responsible for the continuing highprofile of the Jaffa brand campaign, as well as ensuring high trade awareness levels for the restof broad product portfolio.Purpose of PositionThis position will be reporting direct to the Technical Manager and responsible for the avocadoripening process. This role will also determine correct product allocation and ensuring fruit isplaced to relevant SKU.Accountabilities? Oversee Avocado ripening process, including quality and pressure checks in accordance withStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs).? Perform quality inspections, sort and grade Avocados upon arrival.? Maintain inventory and rotation of product.? Monitor stock, allocate and make appropriate arrangements to ensure timely deliveries.? Update Excel stock sheet complete with pressures daily.? Liaise with service provider to ensure product is packed according to customer requirements.? Periodically train staff on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as needed.Minimum Skills Required? At least 2 years of prior experience in a similar role.? Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook).? Excellent communication skills (i.e. written and oral).? Attention to details, systematic and organize? Ability to demonstrate a flexible, hands on approach? Ability to work under pressure, and Ability to Multi task? Consistent and reliable?
