Our client designs, manufactures and supplies energy management and control systems into the marine, off grid, vehicle and industrial markets.  A UK distributor for a number of well-known brands in the power industry including Victron and JCB.

An experienced Panel Wireman is required to join them in their busy workshop based on Medway City Estate, becoming part of a dynamic team who all strive to excel in every aspect of their roles and responsibilities. You will play an important part in ensuring their products are built to a high standard and function correctly first time.

Previous experience of building electrical panels is essential as well as a good understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics.  Alongside building panels you will on occasion be required to undertake testing and inspection of a variety of panels built by other personnel. Some experience of PCB assembly would be an advantage.

Computer skills, with some experience using Microsoft office products, would be an advantage in this technical role coupled with an interest and aptitude for electrical systems.

Working Safely
Mechanical assembly of components from schematics
Wiring Panel from electrical schematics
Fault Finding
Testing and inspection
Operation of a variety of workshop machinery
Time management and working to deadlines
Administration
Working hours:  8.00am - 4.00pm plus regular overtime.
