Salary: £28,000–£30,000 depending on experience

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established building products supplier in a varied warehouse, delivery and customer service role. You will be involved in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, preparing and loading orders, delivering goods to customers and assisting customers on the shop floor. This position would suit a reliable, practical individual who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in providing excellent customer service and utilising systems in a hands-on environment.

Duties will include:
Driving a company van to deliver orders to customers safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading goods, ensuring orders are accurate and secure.
Picking, packing and preparing orders for collection and delivery.
Assisting customers on the shop floor with orders, collections and general product enquiries.
Supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse and maintaining organised stock areas.
Receiving deliveries, checking incoming goods and assisting with stock control.
Handling systems such as a CRM and Excel.
Maintaining high standards of health and safety and general housekeeping.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the warehouse and trade counter operate efficiently.

Skillset required:
A full UK driving licence and previous experience driving a van for deliveries.
Previous hands-on warehouse experience, including loading and unloading goods.
Experience dealing with customers face-to-face in a shop, trade counter or similar customer-facing environment.
Good communication and organisational skills.
A reliable, practical and proactive approach to work.
The ability to work effectively in a busy environment and support colleagues where needed.

Hours:
Monday–Friday, 7:45am–5:00pm.
