We are seeking an experienced interim Learning & Development Partner (LMS Lead) to play a key role in delivering a high-quality learning and development service that supports organisational priorities, enhances colleague capability, and maximises the value of our Learning Management System (LMS). Based on a hybrid working model, this is an exciting opportunity to influence learning strategy, lead LMS development, and create engaging learning experiences across a diverse workforce. This is initially a temp role up to 3 months but could turn into a permanent opportunity.
Your new role
As the Learning & Development Partner, you will partner with managers and stakeholders to identify learning needs, recommend effective learning solutions, and drive the continuous improvement of learning systems and processes. You will take ownership of LMS administration, development and enhancement, ensuring data quality, reporting accuracy, compliance and an excellent user experience. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Learning Management System.
* Designing and delivering engaging learning interventions, including digital, virtual, face-to-face and blended learning solutions.
* Managing learning projects and LMS work streams, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales.
* Creating learner communications, guidance and promotional materials to support engagement.
* Analysing learning data and providing insight to improve participation, compliance and learning impact.
* Managing relationships with external learning providers and suppliers.
* Supporting users with LMS queries, troubleshooting issues and driving service improvements.
* Ensuring learning records and system data are maintained in line with governance, compliance and GDPR requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience of administering, developing or implementing a Learning Management System.
* Strong knowledge of L&D operations, including learning needs analysis, evaluation and learning delivery.
* Experience managing projects, coordinating stakeholders and delivering against milestones.
* Confidence analysing data and turning insights into tangible improvements.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience working with confidential information and an understanding of GDPR requirements.
* CIPD Level 5, degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
