L.Mills is a family owned and run business supplying garden plants to garden centres and wholesalers across the South East of England, as well as producing plants for its own retail outlet at the nursery in South Darenth.

We have vacancy for:

Delivery driver: full time / part time - permanent

Daily delivery to customers in south east England using 7.5t vehicles (Class C1 or above). Single drop and multiple site deliveries to wholesale customers within 1½ hours of the base in South Darenth.

Delivery work could be supplemented with work on the nursery depending on the number of hours.
Driving hours vary from low season to high season.

Applicant would need Driver Tachograph card & Driver CPC Training qualified, previous experience is essential and be physically fit.
CPC training could be arranged if necessary.

Duties to include, planning delivery routes, safe loading of vehicles, daily vehicle checks.

Hours: Full time – or flexible working possible.

Position could suit semi retired local person looking to keep active or a person looking for better work life balance.
Immediate start date.

Holiday 28 days inc bank holidays, Pension scheme after 3 months employment.
