About the Role

Hays Education is working with a welcoming primary school in the Ramsgate area that is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and nurturing Year 2 Teacher for a long‑term position running from after the Easter holidays through to the end of the Summer Term. This is a part-time role covering Thursday and Friday.The school would like the successful teacher to visit for an informal chat before the placement begins. This will give you a chance to meet the team, understand the class, discuss expectations and feel supported and confident ahead of your start.

* A qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 1
* Warm, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high quality learning
* Confident planning, teaching and assessing engaging Year 2 lessons
* Able to contribute to end of year reporting and team collaboration
* Positive, adaptable and committed to maintaining the smooth running of the school
* ECTs are very welcome to apply and will be supported to develop and make a strong impact
