Overview

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working.
Salary is up to £35,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Duties
Day to day bookkeeping activities for a range of clients, including completing VAT calculations and submissions
Handle the preparation and submission of CIS returns
Preparation of statutory accounts
Assisting with year-end accounts
HMRC liaison and submissions
Take responsibility for organising workloads and ensuring all regular tasks and deadlines are met
Support managers with drafting accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this position will have circa 1yr+ UK accountancy practice experience and be able to jump straight into this role. You must live within a 45 minute commute of Bexhill.
