About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative to work across the Kent area, supporting a busy team for the upcoming season. This role involves travelling to multiple sites using a company vehicle, so reliability and flexibility are essential.

You will be responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces, supporting the tree collection, and ensuring grounds remain clean, safe, and well-presented throughout the year.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Grounds Maintenance Operative, your duties will include:

* General grounds and garden maintenance
* Litter picking and site upkeep
* Supporting the maintenance of tree collections
* Lone working or working within a team depending on site needs.
* Seasonal duties, including winter gritting

You will be part of the wider Grounds Maintenance team, contributing to the day‑to‑day care and management of the grounds.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:

* Grounds Maintenance experience
* Full UK manual driving licence
* Age 25+ (required for company vehicle insurance)
* Ability to travel across various sites in Kent
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

A company van (manual) will be provided for site travel.Pay & Hours

* From £14.00 per hour
* Monday-Friday
* Overtime available if desired
* Seasonal work with winter gritting opportunities
