IT Support Technician – A Fantastic Opportunity with a Great Company
A great, long-established IT services company is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled IT Support Technician to join their team. This organisation provides and supports IT systems for clients across the UK, taking pride in their high level of technical expertise and professional approach. This is a home-based, part-time role, ideal for someone with IT Helpdesk or IT Engineer experience, gained either in-house or as a field engineer.

What You’ll Need:
• Previous experience as an IT Helpdesk Technician or IT Engineer
• Experience working with Cloud-based Microsoft systems and on-site Microsoft servers, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365
• A genuine passion for IT and technology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A professional and proactive approach
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

The Role:
• Act as the first point of contact for clients via telephone and email
• Log and track support issues through the company’s ticketing system
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues where possible, escalating internally when required
• Maintain clear and regular communication with customers regarding ticket progress
• Keep accurate records and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Receive comprehensive in-house training, including an initial 3-day induction at company offices and ongoing remote training

The Hours & Benefits:
