Overview

A professional, well established chartered accountants in on the lookout for a new member of the team to join the bookkeeper department! They have grown tremendously over the years and offers genuine career paths for employee development.

This role involves overseeing day to day bookkeeping for a wide variety of sectors, as well as preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, and so much more to expand your skill set!


This role is Monday to Friday - Hybrid Working

Salary is up to £32,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Key Duties

Completing and submitting VAT returns in line with HMRC regulations and ensuring full compliance.
Compiling monthly and quarterly management reports and financial statements.
Visiting client sites to carry out bookkeeping duties, including the preparation of financial and management reports.
Responding to and resolving client enquiries promptly as they come up.

A successful candidate will be able to show some previous experience in accountancy practice and live within a 1 hour commute.
