We’re looking for an experienced Wood Machinist / Bench Joiner to join our workshop in Lenham Heath, Kent. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day manufacture of timber door frames, panelled doors, and other joinery components, working from drawings to produce accurate, high-quality products. The role involves setting up and operating woodworking machinery, assembling joinery, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace as part of a skilled production team.

Responsibilities:

• Operations:
o Operate woodworking machinery including saws, planers, spindle moulders.
o Manufacture and assemble joinery components to specification, including panelled door sets, frames, and other bespoke items.
o Read and interpret drawings, cutting lists, and work instructions.
o Assist with the preparation and maintenance of tooling and machinery.

• Qualifications/Skills:
o NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, Wood Machining, or equivalent experience preferred.
o Competent in the use of a range of woodworking machines and hand tools.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Hours:
o Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm.
o Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm.
o 28 days holiday inc all bank holidays.
