On behalf of our client, a leading national distributor of screws, we are recruiting for a temporary Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team in Essex.

This is a dual-role position where you will primarily work within the Goods-In & Stock Control teams operating a Counterbalance forklift, while also stepping in as a Van Driver for multi-drop deliveries across Essex, East London, South West London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and surrounding areas.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

* Multi-drop deliveries to trade customers
* Conducting vehicle safety checks and reporting issues
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
* Using delivery apps and mobile devices for PODs and updates
* Providing excellent customer service on delivery routes
* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (RTITB accredited)
* Replenishing and rotating stock
* Accurate checking in and out of deliveries
* Maintaining a tidy, safe, and efficient warehouse
* Assisting with stock takes and inter-departmental stock movements
* Manual handling and lifting boxes up to 25kg
* Supporting other departments and sites when required

The hours of work are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
