We are recruiting for a PERMANENT PRODUCTION OPERATOR for an established manufacturing client in the area with an impressive manufacturing site, where they have a number of high speed, high tech, production lines manufacturing their portfolio of products.

Job Content:
The purpose of a Production Operator is to ensure the production lines run efficiently and effectively, ensuring any problems are rectified quickly and ensure that good manufacturing checks are completed, so operating and monitoring their high tech machinery.
Ordering and loading components from stores to enable production flow
Completing line start up checks
Operating and monitoring machines
Dealing with product changeovers and wash downs
Reading and understanding any alarms
Problem solving any issues that arise

Hours of Work/Benefits:
Averaging 40 hours per week
4 shifts on, 4 shifts off pattern
12 hour shifts (with breaks)
Day or Night shifts available, whichever is your preference

Days: 6am – 6pm
OR
Nights: 6pm – 6am

The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within a production/manufacturing environment is preferred, although applicants with the commitment and desire to move into such a position, for the long term would be considered

The ability to work within a team setting is essential
Comfortable following procedures and adhering with company standards
Good communication skills
Positive attitude
Basic understanding of maths and basic PC skills
Good standard of verbal and written English
