Driver and Installation Technician

The Role

Our client based in Burgess Hill are looking for a driver/installer - someone who takes pride in their work and thrives on getting things done properly the first time.

For the right person, there’s a clear path to grow into a broader operations and team leadership role over time, helping shape how we deliver excellence going forward.

Whether you’re already experienced in installations and maintenance or you’re ready to step up from a similar background, we’re looking for someone who’s proactive, detail-focused, and wants to take real ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities

Driver/Installation/Maintenance

You will be driving to commercial clients premises across Sussex, Surrey and London.


Carry out high-quality installation and ongoing maintenance across a range of client sitesRepresent our brand with professionalism and pride — you'll often be the face of the business on-siteEnsure work is completed to high standards every time
Hands-On Problem Solving


Work practically and efficientlyApply a "right first time" attitude to all tasksTake ownership of issues and deliver solutions
Site Travel & Client Interaction


Travel to various client sites (company van will be provided)Communicate clearly and professionally with clients on-site to build strong working relationshipsBe dependable, punctual, and thorough — reliability is key
Opportunity for Growth (For the Right Candidate)

As you prove yourself in the technician role, you'll have the chance to grow into wider operational responsibilities, including:


Supervising a small team of techniciansInvolvement in purchasing and supplier managementHelping shape processes and systems to support quality and efficiencyTaking a lead in health & safety compliance and risk assessmentSupporting planning and logistics for installations and production
We’ll provide mentoring and support — you’ll bring the initiative and reliability.

About You


Strong practical/DIY skills.Van driving experienceExcellent attention to detail and high personal standardsReliable, proactive and self-motivated — you see what needs doing and get it doneWillingness to accept feedback, learn, grow and take on new challengesPrevious experience in a similar hands-on role is beneficialFull UK driving licence is essentialBasic computer literacy (email, Word, Excel)
