About the Role

As a Legal Assistant, you will provide vital support to the Private Client, Family, and Conveyancing departments. Your efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to solicitors, including word processing, filing, and correspondence
Manage diaries, appointments, and critical deadlines
Handle client communications via phone and email, delivering a high standard of service
Organise and maintain legal documents and case files
Arrange travel and accommodations for off-site meetings or hearings
Record billable hours accurately and assist with expense processing
Support document preparation, court forms, and legal bundles
Offer assistance during peak periods to support team effectiveness
What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in legal administration
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner
High attention to detail and accuracy in document handling
A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude
