Hours: Saturday 8.30am - 5.30pm
Salary: £11.50 per hour (Scope for weekday holiday cover in addition to standard contract)

We are currently looking for an outgoing, articulate and well presented person to be the face of our Volvo dealership in Maidstone, to meet and greet customers visiting the showroom whilst operating a busy switchboard. This role is varied and will suit an experienced person who has in particular previous experience within a busy reception environment.

Duties will include:

- Answering the telephone and directing calls within the dealership
- Meet and greeting customers to showroom and directing to relevant department or personnel
- Assisting the sales and service teams at busy periods qualifying and obtaining information to forward on
- Maintain customer lounge area ensuring guests are offered refreshments

Skills and experience required:

Essential:
- Excellent inter personal skills and articulate with outgoing personality
- Good telephone manner with ability to qualify and give friendly support and advice
- Previous knowledge of reception and switchboard routines
- Keyboard and computer skills to include Microsoft Office and Outlook

Desirable:
-Proven experience within a retail environment linked to customer service
-Training of switchboard and systems will be given in-house together with product knowledge through manufacturer training programs.
