Internal Sales & Quotes Engineer

£28k - 33k per year + benefits

Personnel Selection

Our client is looking to add an experienced Sales & Quotes Engineer to the customer support team at thier site in Hove, East Sussex.  This client is involved in electronics engineering and will be looking for someone who has previous experience of electronics and understading electrical drawings etc. You should have worked in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years. 

Commercial:

•              Produce quotations as appropriate, and to customer expectations.

•              Produce estimated Bills of Material, for quotation purposes.

•              Provide accurate lead time estimates.

•              Construct commercial and technical documentation for inclusion in quotations.

•              Identify and develop new business opportunities.

•              Respond to customer enquiries and any further questions arising from quotations.

•              Review actual costs against estimated costings.

•              Load sales orders and update information into Progress Plus.

•              Invoicing, as goods are delivered or vested.

•              Respond to customer requests for progress updates on current orders.

•              Transmit documents to customers for review and/or approval.

•              Assist with sales forecasting.

•              Liaise with transport contractors to arrange deliveries.

•              Liaise with new suppliers during the product implementation or existing product improvements.

•              Record customer communications and support process to ensure customer feedback is gained.

Sentinel Administrator:

•              Responsible for and fully empowered to carry out all functions and responsibilities, to delegate and assign tasks to colleagues and employees, in order to ensure full compliance with all Sentinel rules and regulations.

•Able to plan and co-ordinate effectively. 

•Personal commitment to ensuring that products are delivered at the planned cost, quality standard and at the agreed delivery date.

•Communicate effectively with both colleagues and management.

•Essential – Proven ability to develop their skills and performance, for eventual promotion to a senior commercial role.

Leadership:

•Assertive, accurate, confident and precise. 

•Need to work as a team, but with the willingness to take control and lead when required.
