Your new company
Our commercial client is looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor for a hybrid role in Bromley.
Your new role
You will be an HR Advisor able to provide expert HR advisory services to their Head Office and field-based teams. As the first point of contact for employee relations, employment law, and employee wellbeing matters, you will offer timely and consistent advice on a range of issues including conduct, grievances, flexible working, performance, and absence management. Your role will involve producing letters related to employee relations cases, supporting and coaching managers through complex investigations, and preparing for and attending formal meetings. You will proactively manage sickness absence cases, make referrals to Occupational Health, and educate managers on employee wellbeing and mental health. Additionally, you will advise on family leave matters, update the HRM system, conduct HR inductions, support change management processes, and carry out exit interviews. You will also undertake DSE workstation assessments, attend interviews, write and review HR policies, complete HR project tasks, and cover for the HR Business Partner when needed.

A solid understanding of GDPR principles and their relevance to HR disciplines is essential. You will have excellent decision-making skills, communication, and influencing abilities to build rapport with managers. The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent organisational skills to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines.
What you'll get in return
This is a hybrid role: a mix of working in the office and remotely, enhanced pension and generous holiday entitlement.
