Join a dynamic, specialist international Lloyds broking business who create and place a diverse range of bespoke covers on behalf of clients operating across a spectrum of different industry sectors.

The Junior Broker will fully support the end-to-end broking process, place risks into the Lloyds / Company market. And develop strong relationships with clients. Providing full operational support to broking team and proactively assist in the day to day running of clients risks and insurance programmes.

Responsibilities:

* To provide day to day support to the Specialty teams; with the agility to work across different insurance classes when required.
* Independent broking on less complex accounts or as part of overall placement strategy on complex accounts.
* Support wider team in developing client relationships by ensuring that all client needs and requirements from an administrative perspective are handled in a timely, technically accurate and compliant manner.
* Assist Managers in the quality control of slips, endorsements and support in resolving any processing queries.
* Monitor and seeking agreement of slips and endorsements via the London Market's PPL electronic placing platform as well as the firm's platform of choice (White Space).

Candidate profile:

* Some experience gained within a Lloyds London market environment.
* Understanding of the risk placement process.
* Familiarity with MRC slips and endorsements
* Use of PPL and / or Whitespace would be ideal, but not essential

Candidate attributes:

* Agility and aptitude to work in a fast evolving, regulated environment.
* Planning and organisational skills - ability to adapt and prioritise own workload
* Attention to detail and ability to work across stakeholder groups.
* Diligence and ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Good communication skills
