Puretone Ltd. is a market leading designer and manufacturer of sub-miniature audio devices, based in Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent.
Working alongside fully trained electronic engineers and technicians in both our Production, and Electronic Calibration, Service & Repair workshops, this is an ideal role for a practical ‘hands-on’ person with an interest or qualification in electronics.

Typical duties include:
• Electronics testing and final inspection for positive release of sub miniature electronic audio systems and mouldings.
• Check and sign off production batch documentation.
• Monitor and record production data.
• Daily monitoring and organization of in-process production/rework jobs in accordance with production plan.
• Operation of nano coat waterproofing equipment.
• Calibration and maintenance of in-house test equipment.
• Calibration, Service & Repair of customer audiometry instruments.
• Upkeep of calibration databases.
• Electrical safety (PAT) testing and record keeping.

Strong attention to detail, good levels of eyesight (corrected) and manual dexterity are essential for this role
.
Good levels of literacy, numeracy, and IT skills are also required, along with effective communication and telephone manner.

Previous experience an advantage but not required as full training will be given.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 (36.25 hours)
