Fabulous technical product engineering company expanding their team to meet growing customer demand – this is a chance to join a fantastic company that have supplied to clients ranging small independent to national household names for >30 years!

This is a super diverse role with full training provided, joining a lovely team environment, in a position involved across all areas of the business day-to-day. Working closely with a team, your role will encapsulate:-
• Client interfacing – handling technical sales enquiries from new and existing customers across the UK; as well as from regional sales managers
• Sales support – generating bespoke quotations; advising clients on products/components suitability for individual need
• Supplier liaison – generating orders, agreeing lead times and ensuring fulfilment; also conducting UK and international supplier visits
• Internal briefing – to product development and engineering teams
• Technical administration – import/export document generation, courier and freight forwarder booking
• Ad hoc projects – eg. involvement with manufacturing
Mon – Fri 9-5 (Flexibility if required) - with a respect for work-life balance
Salary with experience £30-40,000

The ideal candidate would have experience/appreciation of product engineering processes/technical production processes; and be based within reasonable commute to East Peckham. You should have excellent communication skills with the ability to build/manage customer & supplier relationships; accuracy and attention to detail; and willingness/ability to learn the uniquities and technical elements of the company product and process.

Could suit a technical/practical professional looking to move into an office role, or someone with previous office-based experience in a similar sector (manufacturing, engineering instrumentation, scientific products or similar) seeking a new challenge! Or, someone looking to move away from an outbound sales generation role into something different using your skills!
