Key responsibilities


Act on MRP recommendations , placing orders with approved supplier basesHelp implement , monitor and positively drive department KPI's, safety, quality,, delivery and cost and support the alignment of processes and metrics to businessMonitor the quality and performance and cost to ensure that contracts continue to deliver maximum overall valueExpedite material to the "point of use" and respond quickly to operational issuesImplement and manage the effective dates of engineering changesOwn records of import and exportPerform regular order book consolidations /commitment /lead time / safety stock  and liability review and regularly supply lines in accordance with the business strategy to maintain competitiveness and work with sourcing lead for new out=sourcing opportunities as required,Negotiate contractual terms for sourcing direct materials , equipment and services

Educated to HMC/HND level, or relevant industry qualifications

Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques

High Level computer literacy and data analysis
