Events Manager - £30-35,000/annum

Our prestigious client is looking to recruit an Events Manager for their operations near Sandwich.

* What's on offer - £30-35,000/annum plus and comes with a performance related bonus scheme, eligible after six months successful completion of probation

As the Events Manager, you will be responsible for managing weddings and celebrations throughout the year, ensuring a first-class customer experience. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all of the events schedules, liaising with catering, organising and planning with staff and the end customer, in order to ensure that the events are executed at the highest level.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role or will be currently working in a supervisory role with experience of stepping up into the Managers role on occasions and looking for that next step.

Highly organised Events Manager:

* Good experience of organising and running high end events with 50 or 100 plus numbers
* Confident in picking up the communication with prospective customers who are enquiring about events on the site
* Ability to negotiate on costs and provide quotes for future events
* Natural ability to develop relationships with new customers, planning and bringing their events to reality
* Experience of training a team of staff to a high level
* Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with team members
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Standard hours Monday to Friday with the understanding that this is a 7 day operation and you will be a front facing Events Manager for all customers.
