Key Responsibilities:
1.Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop accurate budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company`s strategic objectives. Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts and provide timely variance analysis.
2.Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, interpreting data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Present key findings to senior management, offering actionable recommendations to drive business performance.
3.Management Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc management reports, providing comprehensive commentary on financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to aid decision-making.
4.Month-end and Year-end Closing: Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions. Maintain the general ledger and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
5.Cost Control: Monitor and analyze cost structures, suggesting cost-saving measures and process improvements where appropriate.
6.Financial Planning and Analysis: Contribute to long-term financial planning exercises, supporting the development of strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
7.Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
-Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
-Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
-Advanced knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
-Excellent MS Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
-Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
-Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
