Goldhawk Associates are working to support a Top 20 Firm in Kent to appoint a Corporate Finance Executive. If you are an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who has previous audit experience and have an interest in working within corporate finance this could be the role for you.

You will join an experienced team of corporate finance specialists working in a friendly and forward-thinking firm of accountants with a key focus on CPD and employee engagement. The Corporate Finance team has a strong reputation within their market in the South East. This is a rare opportunity for someone to be able to work in the field of corporate finance where you gain exposure to due diligence, advisory, and valuations, enabling you to gain experience and exposure to all areas. Full training and development will be given.

As a Corporate Finance Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the Partner and your key tasks will be across transaction support and lead advisory:
You will be responsible for the preparation of Financial Due Diligence reports in respect of:
- Corporate acquisitions
- Private equity acquisitions
- Bank pre-lending reviews
- Liaising with clients, funders, and intermediaries during the execution of transactions
- Liaising with other departments (e.g. tax) throughout the transaction
- Report writing (e.g. preparation of Information Memorandum, Business Plans)
- Financial modelling (e.g. cash flow/financing models)
- M&A analysis (e.g. identification of potential acquisition targets or buyers)
- Researching, preparing and supporting presentations/sales pitches for new business
- Liaising with clients, funders, and intermediaries during the execution of transactions
- Relationship building with the local intermediary market (banks, lawyers, etc.)

The preference is for someone with Corporate Finance or an Audit background as you would hold many transferable skills however they are looking for a commercially minded accountant with a strong interest in, and enthusiasm for Corporate Finance and be a genuine team player. You must display high levels of accuracy and diligence in your work. The job is likely to suit a self-starter with the energy to work flexible hours and to tight deadlines.

You will be an ACA or ACCA qualified with good written and verbal communication skills. The position will be client-facing and therefore you will need to be confident and professional. Due to the varied and sometimes rural location of their clients, a full UK driving license and access to a car is essential.
