Do you have experience operating finishing machines and ensuring high-quality output? Look no further! Our industry leading client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Finishing Machine Minder to join their team and play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the flawless execution of print finishing operations.

Duties include:
• Operate and maintain finishing machines such as folding machines, cutting machines, laminators, gluing machines, and other related equipment.
• Set up machines according to job specifications, ensuring proper alignment, feed, and output settings.
• Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal productivity and quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and equipment malfunctions.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and make adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with the production team to prioritise jobs, manage work schedules, and meet deadlines.
• Assist with other production tasks as required.

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Proven experience operating finishing machines.
• Strong technical knowledge of various finishing machines and their functions.
• Familiarity with different types of paper stock, coatings, adhesives, and other materials used in the printing industry.
• Ability to interpret job orders, specifications, and blueprints accurately.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting common machine issues and performing routine maintenance.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
