Role: BMS Electrician
Base: Sidcup, London - with assignments across London and the South East
Salary: £40K-£50K per annum depending on experience
About us:
Established in 1994 to provide services to other BMS companies, Magpie BMS simultaneously developed their own client base. We gained Trend Systems Integrator status in 1998 which transferred to being a Registered Partner in 2022.
We established our own panel workshop in 2010 and have been a NAPIT Approved electrical contractor from 2014.
The services we provide are carried out In-House, giving us full control over timings and outcomes.
We have our own panel workshop. Panel and Software Designs are prepared and fully tested prior to shipping to site.
Our site installation team have many years of specialising in Controls and BMS work and efficient and neat working practices makes Magpie BMS installations stand out from our competitors.
Description:
• This is a role for a trained electrician ideally with 5 years’ experience who is looking for a more varied role
• This will include panel building and BMS maintenance, as well as site installation
• Training will be provided in control systems in general and Trend Controls products specifically enabling progression to include a role as Commissioning Engineer
• Experience of other control systems would be beneficial, but not essential
• A good understanding/appreciation of building services control and how systems should be integrated
• Good written and oral communication skills with clients and other trades
Qualifications required:
• NVQ or C&G level 3 in Electrical Installation
• City and Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
• ECS card
• Driving Licence
