Mailing House Operative

Temp to Perm opportunity paid weekly whilst temporary, £10.42 per hour, 45 hours p/w, Uckfield, up to 34 days holiday, overtime occasionally available.



The role

We are working with an excellent employer in Uckfield who are expanding their mailing house operation, and ideally seeking experienced mailing house operatives to join them on a temp to perm basis. This will be a busy, fast paced role with a range of tasks that will need to be completed to tight deadlines. They are seeking someone that enjoys the energy of working in an organised and efficient way, meeting targets and motivating those around you. The role will include:

* Hand mailing and machine mailing tasks
* Working quickly at the end of a production line
* Collating and sorting items
* Matching items
* Packing goods
* Bench work including folding printed materials, filling envelopes, making up boxes, stacking and packing completed works.



Please note, this role offers two different shift patterns of 7:30am - 5pm or 8am - 5:30pm.



The Person

The successful candidate will ideally have come from a mailing house background and is aware of the fast-paced nature of the role and has experience of hand and machine mailing tasks. You will need to be physically fit and able to stand for the duration of your shift, lifting a quantity of finished goods at one time. Full training will be provided in all areas. This is a temp to perm position you must be available to start a new role soon.
