Senior QS - Main Contractor- Residential new build- £Competitive - SE London, Apartment schemes

Your new company
A well-established main contractor based in South East London now require a Senior Quantity Surveyor due to growth. Working across Greater London projects are typically RC frame apartment schemes of between 30 - 100 units. Following an extremely successful year they now seek an experienced QS to join the team on a permanent basis to oversee 2 new schemes, Combined the schemes are valued at £26 million totalling just over 100 units. The role will be reporting to the Commercial Director

Your new role
working within the commercial team, the main purpose of the role would include; overseeing the commercial management of various projects. You will be accurately reporting the financial and contractual situation of the Sites, measuring and assess the work undertaken and submitting detailed, accurate and timely applications for payment including final accounts, take timely and proper action (e.g. notices) in accordance with the contract. Assist with preparation of contractual claims, contribute to the set up and review of the project risk register, and financial and contractual needs of a contract are fully met in line with the required standards and time constraint.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have new build residential experience, working on JCT contracts from preconstruction through to final accounts, including sub contract procurement.
