Senior Upstream Energy Account Executive

Salary: £75,000 to £100,000 (depending on expertise)

Hybrid working: City of London office & Home



An opportunity to join a highly respected team within a leading global Lloyd's (re) insurance broking house.

In this role you will provide a 360-degree client and market service for complex risks located in some of the most challenging geographic areas of the world.



* Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients (D&F)
* Identify specific client needs and requirements
* Be responsible for analysing risks and providing advice and guidance to clients on the structure of appropriate coverage.
* Devise a suitable placement strategy and lead negotiation with markets to obtain quotations.
* Develop and maintain market relationships with Lloyd's and international (re)insurers to permit the widest placing opportunities
* Oversee and coordinate the complete placement cycle
* Produce and analyse premium/brokerage/claims/renewal and other statistics as may be required by line manage



Risks include: CoW, exploration, development, distribution and construction, loss of production income, mobile drilling units, onshore/offshore property, pipelines, pollution, decommissioning and platforms.



What you need to bring …



* Technical knowledge of upstream energy risks
* Experience from a Lloyd's market background
* Good relationships with suitable markets
* Client management skills
