Warehouse Assistant Part time
Our well established and rapidly growing client, who supply a variety of products, are looking for an all-round warehouse person to join their team.
Hours are part-time initially – but will develop further as the business grows. The role includes speaking to clients and customers, so must be happy dealing with the phone side, which could increase the hours. Currently the hours are Monday to Friday 12.00pm or 1pm to 5pm Hourly Rate £12.00 to £14.00 per hour according to skills.
Main duties:
• Goods inwards – Product Quality Checks
• Strong on Stock Control
• Some basic product assembly
• Packing and Dispatching – UK & International
• Maintaining an efficient and tidy warehouse
• Update records of goods onto systems, both paper and electronically
Possible occasional travelling locally to client premises to assemble display stands in show rooms (vehicle or expenses will be provided) – you will need to be fit and happy to carry up to 25 Kilos in product weight.
Forklift truck experience helpful not essential
