Project Manager for Construction Company

The Company
Working with progressive Tier 2 building contractor in the South East who are looking expand their team in the Brighton area with an additional Projects Manager. Projects are a mix of modern student residential and housing association, plus various commercial and city centre projects. Schemes are technically interesting and logistically challenging - a great mix for talented Projects Managers. The company are known as forward thinking with their commitment to deliver projects to a high level of quality - within budgetary and timescale expectations. They invest in their staff, and management maintain supportive links at all levels.

The role
Responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the projects with values typically £8m - £20m. The role will include overseeing contract matters; construction phase programmes; subcontractor and supplier management; financial control - ensuring all is managed to highest Health & Safety standards. You will be supported by a visiting Contracts Manager and have a team of site / section managers.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as a full control Project Manager of projects c £8m+ is required. You will be a knowledgeable and confident manager, able to think innovatively and professionally. The role will span pre-construction planning through to handover with clients. Your ability to communicate and work with clients and the public is essential. You will be an ambitious leader for your team on site.
