Our client are seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant, who is qualified AAT, with 2 to 3 years post-qualification experience or qualified by experience. Experience in preparing accounts for companies, partnerships, and sole traders, along with audit experience. You will be working in a small team, reporting to a Client Accounts Manager.

About the role

* Working on a varied client portfolio
* Managing relationships with clients and contacts
* Preparing accounts for both incorporated & unincorporated entities
* Preparing management accounts as required
* Managing bookkeeping for clients and completion of VAT returns as necessary
* Undertaking audit work including planning, fieldwork, and completion

About you

* Strong skills working with spreadsheets such as Excel
* Ability to work with accounting software such as QuickBooks
* Ability to present complex accounting information in an easy-to-understand format
* Excellent arithmetic and mathematical skills
* Ability to delegate tasks
* Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team to produce results
* Excellent customer service and client satisfaction skills
