Job Title: Trainee Double Glazing Repair Operative

Salary: £20,000pa (negotiable)

Location: Burgess Hill

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 40 p/w

We are excited to be working with our client in their search for a Trainee Double Glazing Repair Operative. This exciting position is offering the successful candidate the chance to gain knowledge and skills which are required to cover a wide range of tasks involved in the repair and maintenance of double-glazed installations.



You will be working alongside experienced operatives where you will be shown and encouraged to be involved in both the diagnosis and rectifications of problems.



Duties and Responsibilities:



* Be physically fit, as the job requires mobility to carry and handle tools and equipment as well a degree of strength for lifting. Some ladder work is included.
* Have practical ability
* Be able to show initiative
* Develop your problem-solving skills
* Show interest in your work and the needs of the customers
* Have good powers of observation
* Be able to discuss issues with customers, colleagues and management
* Be a good team member, while also developing the confidence and initiative to work independently



The Person:

* Presentable and personable
* Motivated to learn new skills and work hard
* A flexible approach to your work and happy to work out of hours if needs be
* You must hold a full, current, UK Driving license with own vehicle due to location
* Experience using tools would be advantageous
