Manufacturing Chemist

Burgess Hill, Monday to Friday, 8am until 4:15pm (4pm finish on a Friday), 20 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, free parking, PPE provided



The Role

A fantastic opportunity had arisen for a Lab Technician / Manufacturing Chemist to join a leading industrial cleaning product manufacturer in Burgess Hill. This role will suit someone who has a genuine interest in Chemistry. You will work as part of a small team where products are manufactured on site.



You will:

* Perform analytical examinations of products and raw materials
* Perform trend analysis against examination results to identify failure trends
* Manage the laboratories inventory of bulk materials and samples
* Prepare customer samples to specification prior to dispatch
* Ensure items are stored correctly and re-stock the lab as required
* Label and package products.

Requirements
We expect the successful Lab Technician / Manufacturing Chemist to have a qualification in Chemistry. Ideally, you will have some experience in a Laboratory environment too. You must be comfortable working as part of a small team and confident in your prioritisation skills to ensure the products are created in line with customer requirements.
