Master Technician

£50000, Horsham, Mon to Thurs 8am to 5pm, Fri 8 am to 3 pm, 20 da + Bank Holidays, Pension, Parking



The Role

Due to business expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Master Technician to join a well-established bus and coach conversion and sales specialist. Working on Buses and Coaches, the Master Technician will lead the technical support and diagnostics for the range of products on offer. The role will involve advanced training in each model with fault diagnostics and warranty repair procedures on the full company range.

* OEM training to Expert level on all models and sub systems.
* Lead role for all major fault finding and quality reporting to factory.
* Supporting customers and approved aftersales agents with technical support and training.
* Supporting workshop with training and diagnosis of electrical and mechanical issues.
* Lead adoption and training for HV/EV Systems with OEM training.
* Develop an industry leading aftersales support function with management team.
* Be part of the on call team responding to out of hour warranty telephone support calls 1 in every 3 weeks



Requirements

We would expect the successful Master Technician to be experienced in the diagnostics, rectification, inspection, and servicing of buses, coaches or LCV/HGV vehicles. Ideally you would have worked in a dealership environment and have a solid understanding of inspection and new vehicles. You will be experienced in operating OEM Manufacturer diagnostic equipment and ideally have experience with HV/EV systems. Experience in using online resources for technical research, assistance and problem solving. You will have fantastic communication skills and be comfortable sharing your knowledge and experience. You will need to travel internationally for initial training (expenses covered).

Package

£50,000 per annum

£120 per on-call week (1 in 3)

20-day holiday + bank holidays
