Design Engineer

Tonbridge - must be able to work on site

£negotiable DOE!

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer with a background in oil and gas or another heavy industrial sector!

Duties include:

* Designing and developing new products from concept visuals to prototype and production.
* Producing accurate drawings
* Keeping all internal records accurate and up to date on internal databases.
* Working well with colleagues and manufacturers to ensure smooth product development workflows and responsiveness to issues and queries.
* Meeting set target dates and budgets.

The successful candidate will have:

* Degree level or equivalent Design engineering qualifications.
* Experience working within oil and gas or similar
* Experience producing detailed drawings for manufacture, including use of CAD and CGI packages (Solidworks, Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor).
* Ideally experience with pipework.
* Solid technical and engineering experience, with good manufacturing knowledge.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
* Pro-active and hands-on.
* Confidence working to tight deadlines.
* Commitment to innovation and development.
